Board-lasted
Pronunciation (bawrd, bohrd lahs-tid)
- A performance improvement made in walking and running shoes. A board-lasted shoe has cardboard inserted in the midsole to make the shoe more stable and less flexible, and to compensate for differences in a person's gait (under- or over-pronation). []
